HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Dates: September 1-7, 2024
Registration deadline: until August 29, 2024 inclusive
Venue: Exhibition Hall of the Eurasian Art Union, Art Commune
Exhibition address: Moscow, Kievskaya st., 2, 4th floor, Art Commune Exhibition Hall
Working hours: 10:00-22:00.

Ways of participation

There are three forms of participation in the International Graphic Arts Competition "GRAPHICUM's": 

1) OFFLINE (in person) - an artist brings artworks in person and visits the exhibition in Moscow. An artist decides by himself/herself how to deliver artworks to the exhibition. 

2) DISTANT - an artist sends original artworks by post to the Organizing Committee or directly to the exhibition hall. It is necessary to ask The Organizing Committe about the exact address and a liaison who will receive artworks in Moscow and send them back after the exhibition.

3) ONLINE (in absentia) - exposing photocopies of artworks printed on the basis of files that are sent online. The Organizing Committee prints sent files in following demies: 
А4, А3, А2, А1, А0. Artworks are printed  on paper or foamcoar. Artworks are exposed in the art-book or on the wall.

All artworks are given objective appraisal by experts from different parts of the world.

RULES OF PARTICIPATION

Variants of exposition

Artworks are exposed the following ways:

  • Original artworks
  • Giclee
  • Photocopies: the Organizing Committee prints sent files and expose them in the form of:
  • Art book (A3)
  • Canvas-stretcher (A2, A1, A0)
  • Canvas on foamcore (A2, A1, A0)

After the exhibition an artist can get canvas/foamcore with stretcher free.

Registration steps

Please, prepare files with competition works: photos – up to 20 Мб, .jpg, videos – link to video hosting. Online and offline participants send the same set of documents.

Steps of registration:

  • A participant sends materials to the Organizing Committee via filling in the registration form "РREGISTRATION":

  • The Organizing Committee confirms the compliance of the nomination and sends a link to the entrance fee payment.
  • After payment an artist sends a receipt to info@artaward.info and becomes a participant.
  • The Organizing Committee sends the final confirmation.

Preview selection

An artist decides by him/herself by what nomination he/she participates. The Organizing Committee makes a preview of sent photo images. All artworks that were registered before deadline and confirmed by the Organizing Committee are exposed at the exhibition and and participate in the competition program with the exception of:

  1. artworks that break the public rules accepted in Russian Federation;
  2. political subject-matter;
  3. artworks that outrage the religious feeling and personality.

The Organizing Committee decision is definitive.

Sale of artworks

Offline works (originals, giclee) submitted for the project can be sold at the price that is pointed by the artist in the registration form.

In case of buyer’s desire to purchase the online artwork, photocopy, the artist should give the original piece of art during 5 working days.

COMISSION TO THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

Commission to the Organizing Committee is 20%. Payment must be accomplished until the end of the exhibition.
